This morning, the Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms. Noxolo Kiviet, supported by the DPSA Director General, Ms. Yoliswa Makhasi, received a courtesy call from Ms. Ayanda Dlodlo, the World Bank Group Executive Director for Angola, Nigeria, and South Africa.
During the visit at the DPSA’s Batho Pele House Building in Pretoria, they discussed how best to enhance the partnership between the SA Public Service and the World Bank, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration among African countries.
The meeting also highlighted the need to strengthen South Africa’s Public Service delivery models through collaboration and partnerships with external stakeholders, following up on data from the World Bank.
Minister Kiviet lauded the World Bank’s continued assistance to African countries in building capable and effective public services, and both parties agreed on the importance of facilitating continued dialogue across stakeholders to promote mutual learning and innovation.
