The adjustment of medical subsidy for employees on the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS) will be implemented next month, March.
In a circular issued to all Heads national departments and Provincial Administrations, DPSA Director-General Ms Yoliswa Makhasi said the adjustment will be backed dated to January 1, 2024.
The adjustment of the employer subsidy is described in the table below:
