Public Service and Administration Minister, Ms Noxolo Kiviet, will deliver her maiden Budget Vote Speech for the Ministry for Public Service and Administration (MPSA) outlining priorities for the 2023/24 financial year on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Cape Town.
Minister Kiviet’s Budget Vote Speech will be delivered at Good Hope Chamber, the Parliamentary Precinct at 14:00. The Minister is also expected to touch on the implementation of the Professionalisation Framework that seeks to ensure that public servants have the right qualifications, technical skills and be properly inducted to champion the Batho Pele principles.
The Budget Vote of the Minister will also touch on the priorities of the Public Service Commission (PSC), The National School of Government (NSG) and the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA).
The Deputy Minister for the Public Service Administration, Dr Chana Pilane Majake will support the Minister in the budget vote covering the areas of the Government Employee Housing Scheme (GEHS), Government Employee Medical Aid Scheme (GEMS), and the Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI).
The Budget Vote will also be streamed lived on the Parliament YouTube and Twitter channels.
