The Minister for the Pubic Service and Administration, Honorable Senzo Mchunu, MP, sends a message of condolences on the passing of the National Teachers’s Union (NATU) President, Mr Allen Tompson.
The Minister said “it is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of NATU President, Mr Allen Thompson.
“Mr Thompson matured as a trade unionist and as a leader. His passing is indeed a great loss not only for the members of NATU, but also to the public service as a whole. His passion for education and commitment to fighting for the rights of educators was unmatched.
“My sincerest condolences to Mr Thompson’s family, friends, colleagues, and the teaching fraternity. May his soul rest in peace”.
