The Up Run is renowned for its relentless climbs, with runners facing the legendary “Big Five” hills \u2014 Cowies Hill, Fields Hill, Botha’s Hill, Inchanga and Polly Shorts. Conquering these challenging ascents requires months of dedicated preparation, mental fortitude and unwavering commitment, qualities that the DPSA Athletics Club members displayed throughout the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Comrades Marathon, covering approximately 90 kilometres between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, is widely regarded as one of the oldest and most prestigious ultramarathons in the world. Completing the race is an achievement that reflects not only physical endurance but also perseverance and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
