This handover is a testament to our collective efforts to ensure that everyone receives the care they deserve. These enhancements will significantly reduce patient waiting times and improve the quality of care provided at the hospital,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>16 Days of Activism Campaign <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The handing over aligns with the annual 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children campaign which started on November 25 to December 10.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s activation is being held under the theme \u00e2\u20ac\u015330 Years of advancing collective action to end violence against women and children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, with the sub-theme for the campaign being \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Harnessing technology and innovation to combat Gender-Based Violence and accelerate a gender inclusive digital economy\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n<p>The Groote Schuur Hospital\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit serves as a critical referral centre for high-risk pregnancies, addressing a high rate of complications and adverse outcomes. As a government-funded teaching hospital, GSH is equipped with highly experienced staff and provides vital services to the community.<\/p>\n<p>Minister said: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the project represents our commitment to improving health for women and children in South Africa.
