This handover is a testament to our collective efforts to ensure that everyone receives the care they deserve. 16 Days of Activism Campaign <\/strong><\/p>\n The handing over aligns with the annual 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children campaign which started on November 25 to December 10.<\/p>\n This year’s activation is being held under the theme \u00e2\u20ac\u015330 Years of advancing collective action to end violence against women and children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, with the sub-theme for the campaign being \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Harnessing technology and innovation to combat Gender-Based Violence and accelerate a gender inclusive digital economy\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n The Groote Schuur Hospital\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit serves as a critical referral centre for high-risk pregnancies, addressing a high rate of complications and adverse outcomes. As a government-funded teaching hospital, GSH is equipped with highly experienced staff and provides vital services to the community.<\/p>\n Minister said: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the project represents our commitment to improving health for women and children in South Africa.
