Ms Noxolo Kiviet, the Minister for the Public Service and Administration, will embark on a community outreach visit in Middelburg to promote integrated service delivery. This event, scheduled for Thursday, August 10, 2023, is part of the Government\u2019s efforts to implement the District Development Model (DDM) and ensure efficient service provision.<\/p>\n
The Middelburg community outreach is a precursor to the Presidential Imbizo that will take place in Tsomo, hosted by the Chris Hani District Municipality. The President, accompanied by Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and government officials, will lead this Imbizo.<\/p>\n
The purpose of these DDM Imbizo events is to enhance the public\u2019s understanding of the District Development Model and bring the Government closer to the people. President Cyril Ramaphosa has been actively promoting integrated service delivery through the DDM across the country.<\/p>\n
Likewise, Minister Kiviet\u2019s community outreach visit in Middelburg aims to involve the residents of Inxuba Yethemba and support the objectives of the Chris Hani District leg of the Presidential Imbizo. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration among various social partners and sectors, aligning with the integrated and inclusive approach of the DDM.<\/p>\n
