What is Tirelo Bosha?

Tirelo Bosha is a grant facility that supports, amongst others, the research, development and piloting of new ways of delivering front-line public services by funding improvement initiatives in all three spheres of government. The programme is intended to challenge the way in which departments are currently delivering services to the people and therefore requires a new way of thinking and improved and systematic ways of delivering services to ensure that impact will be visible at the level of front line service delivery.

Call for Proposals 2015

After the successful start of the Tirelo Bosha Public Service Improvement Facility in April 2014, a second round of call for proposals is launched today, the 22nd of May 2015. All South African government departments (national, provincial and local) and other institutions, in partnership with a departments/municipalities, are invited to apply for funding under this Call for Proposals 2015.
