Purpose of this guiding document

This document sets out the guidelines to access funding support from the Public Service Improvement Facility to build the capacity of the South African public service for improved frontline service delivery. It provides information on:

The Official Launch of Tirelo Bosha

The Tirelo Bosha - Public Improvement Facility will be officially launched on the 30th of April 2014 at the CSIR Convention Centre in Pretoria.

The facility, which is funded by the Belgian Government, is a partnership programme of the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) and the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) that will be implemented between 2013-2018.

Call for proposals

The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) invites all South African government departments/municipalities (national, provincial and local) and other institutions in partnership with a department/municipality to apply for funding under this call themed: Citizen Focused Frontline Service Delivery.

Applicants are required to submit a short concept note in response to this call. . Should a private service provider and/or civil society organisations wish to participate, it must be done in partnership with a government department/municipality that will act as the lead applicant.
