Background
The Human Resources Development Strategic Framework (HRDSF) Vision 2015 was approved by cabinet on December 5, 2007. Workshops were held with the provinces and national departments, organized labour and government SETAs as part of a policy communication plan. To ensure the HRDSF is effectively implemented, dpsa will be embarking on capacity support through training and field visits to provinces and departments nationally.
Rationale/purpose
The HRD Action Learning Programme seeks to train 108 HRD practitioners from provinces, departments and government SETAs as part of capacity support for the implementation of the Human Resources Development Strategic Framework Vision 2015. The programme is fully funded by the National Skills Fund. HRD practitioner will be supported through the four face-to-face workshops punctuated by workplace practical using the HRD Implementation Guide as a "resource textbook".
