e-Government Learning Network Workshop

The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) though the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) is hosting an e-Government Learning Network Workshop. The theme for the workshop is ‘understanding ICT legislation to enhance compliance’.

The objectives of the workshop are to:

• Improve the understanding of ICT policies and regulations in the Public Service.
• Create a forum for ICT practitioners and decision makers within the Public Service to assess the contribution of ICT legislations to e-government;
• Share information, exchange knowledge and best practice.
• Identify policy gaps and chart way forward for addressing these gaps.

The workshop is an attempt to understand the reason/s behind non-compliance and to collectively seek ways of raising awareness of legislative requirements and promoting public service that respect the rule of law.
