About
the Health Channel
The Public Service Health Channel
is designed as an HIV/AIDS Knowledge Management Web Site (as
compared to a web site intended for information dissemination).
When fully developed, The Health Channel will have the following
applications
1. Will be a knowledge resource,
(medical and management), for all officials involved with implementing
HIV/AIDS Programs
2. Will serve a Survey platform to assess progress of programs,
how they are received etc.
3. Will provide a forum for interaction
between various managers, directors etc.
4.Will serve as Private support
site for People living with HIV/AIDS.
5. Will provide management templates and project monitoring
tools to assist with project implementation, evaluation and
monitoring.
6. Questions and Answer Section
will provide personal access to Medical Advice in privacy.
The site will be developed over
time taking into account, contributions from intended users
and thus assure relevance to public servant's work.
