Introduction

The Cabinet approved the Principles of Public Administration and Financial Management Delegations on 7 August 2013.

The approved Principles represents government's policy in respect of delegation.

Following the Cabinet approval the Minister for Public Service and Administration issued the Directive on Public Administration and Management Delegations, 2014 on 4 August 2014.

The Part A and Part B, Appendixes below are filled in as examples that departments can customise.
