Batho Pele House - Pretoria11 March 2010Following Cabinet's ordinary meeting on 10 March 2010, Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Mr Masenyani Richard Baloyi has made new appointments to the Board of the State Information Technology Agency (SITA).The move is part of the business re-engineering process that will reposition the agency to be fully compliant with the SITA Act; in terms of its board constitution, governance and business models, procurement practices as well as to position the agency as government's 'IT agent of choice'.The following appointments were made to the Board:New members: Ms Solani Victoria Bvuma; Mr Peter Kgame; Ms Koekie Mdlulwa; Prof Maredi Mphahlele; Ms Nontobeko Ntsinde; Ms Jacqueline Shibambu; Ms Febe C Potgieter-Gqubule. Existing members: Ms Zodwa Manase (Chairperson); Mr AM Luthuli; Ms R Sekese; Ms M Makhekhe-Mokhuane; Mr C Kruger; and Ms C Clark.
