Minister for Public Service and Administration, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu will tomorrow, 24 January 2013, attend the meeting of the African Peer Review Mechanismâ€™s (APRM) Focal Points in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The three-day summit, scheduled to end on 26 January 2013, precedes the 20th Ordinary Session of the African Union Summit which will take place on 27 – 28 January 2013 at its Addis Ababa headquarters.
The gathering also coincides with the 18th APRM Summit of the Forum of Heads of State and Government.
The APRM meetings of participating member states customarily take place on the margins of the AU Assembly Session.
Minister Sisulu is accompanied by her deputy, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo, Director-General of DPSA, Mr Mashwahle Diphofa and other senior managers in the department.
One of the highlights of this yearâ€™s gathering is that the APRM will be launching the 10th anniversary of its existence.
The launch, which Deputy Minister Dlodlo, as APRM Focal Point for South Africa is schedule to attend, is set to be a high level affair with Heads of State and Government participating.Zingisile Mapazi
