Theme: Promoting Diversity through ensuring compliance with the Employment Equity Act in the Public Service

Purpose

The workshop is intended to look at challenges that departments face in the implementation of the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998, and the Codes of Good Practice. The workshop will therefore emphasise the procedural aspects that need to be followed by departments in ensuring that compliance with the Act is achieved.

Intended Audience

All senior officials responsible for Employment Equity within their departments.
