The CPSI-UNPAN Workshop for the Southern African Region

The Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI), an online regional centre for the United Nations Online Network in Public Administration and Finance (UNPAN), is hosting the workshop for the Southern African region content coordinators for the UNPAN Portal.
Purpose of the workshop
To ensure that the SADC Region maximizes its role and contribution to information and knowledge management of the United Nations family through:
- Collaboratively clarifying the importance and value of the UNPAN Network and Portal
- Consolidating the team of content coordinators for the SADC Region into a functional network,
- Interrogating the dynamics and content challenges in each country and exploring mechanisms for maximizing participation
The United Nations partnered with the CPSI to promote sharing of knowledge, information, experiences and best practices throughout the world in sound public policies, effective public administration and efficient civil services. This is facilitated through capacity-building and cooperation among the United Nations Member States, with emphasis on south-south cooperation.
